What to expect — honestly
A pressed piece is made from your one and only bouquet. That deserves total honesty about what pressing does — before you commit, not after.
What pressing does to flowers
- Colours soften. Whites turn ivory and cream. Deep reds darken towards wine. Bright pinks gentle into blush. This is the nature of the craft, not a flaw — and it is why the pieces feel timeless rather than artificial. We use no dyes.
- Petals flatten and overlap. The piece becomes something between a photograph and a painting of your bouquet — not a bouquet behind glass.
- Some flowers press better than others. Roses, ranunculus and ferns press beautifully; thick tropical blooms are harder. Send us a photo and we will tell you exactly what to expect from yours.
- All pressed pieces evolve. Over years, colours continue to mellow slowly. UV-protective glass and a wall away from direct sun slow this considerably.
Our promise
- You approve the layout before it is sealed. We photograph the arranged design and send it on WhatsApp. You ask for changes until you love it. Nothing is glued, mounted or framed before your written yes.
- Photo updates throughout. You are never left wondering where your flowers are.
- If we damage it, we make it right. Transit damage is reglazed or repaired at our cost.
Why there are no returns
Each piece is made from your own flowers — it cannot be resold, remade or restocked. That is exactly why the approval step exists: the moment of judgement happens before sealing, while everything can still be changed, not after delivery when nothing can. If a piece arrives faulty or damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos and we will repair or reglaze it.
